Master Addons is an interesting addon plugin for Elementor with unique widgets and ready made pages and sections. Master Addons offers 50+ Elementor widgets, header and footer builder, a mega menu, and plenty of other features.

The plugin promises to make it easy for anyone to kick their design skills up a notch and take your website to the next level. But does it live up to its promises?

That’s what we’re going to find out in this Master Addons review. We’ll take a look at the plugin’s features, go over its pros and cons, and cover the support and pricing options.

We’ll kick this review off by looking at the plugin’s ease of use by going through the installation and setup process.

You have two options for installing the Master Addons plugin. You can install it through your WordPress dashboard by going to Plugins > Add new. Simply search for the plugin, then click Install and Activate.

If you’ve bought the premium version of the plugin, you’ll need to upload the zip file by going to Plugins > Add new > Upload. Once the plugin has been installed, you’ll need to activate it.

You can then begin using the plugin and customizing the widgets to your liking.

Once the plugin has been activated, you can access the plugin settings by clicking its menu item in the sidebar.

You’ll notice the Welcome Area first where you’ll find links to documentation, support options, and the Facebook community.

The Addons tab allows you to activate the desired widgets one by one or all at once. Each widget has icons that link to supporting documentation, video tutorial, and widget demo. The same is true for the Extensions tab.

The plugin’s dashboard also allows you to see the changelog for the plugin and gives you the option to rollback to the previous version of the plugin.

To use the plugin, you can edit an existing page or you can create a new one by going to Pages > Add new. Then, click the Edit With Elementor button and wait until the editor loads.

Once the editor loads, scroll down and click on the widget you want to add. As you can see from the screenshot, you can edit the content and style the widget in the same way as any other built-in Elementor widgets.

Widgets can be styled in terms of colors, fonts, spacing, and more. You can also save widgets as global widgets for later use on other posts and pages of your site.

Overall, working the Master Addons plugin gives the same experience as working with Elementor’s built-in widgets.

Now that we’ve covered the ease of use, let’s go over the plugin’s features.

When it comes to widgets offered by Master Addons, you’ll find 31 free widgets and 18 premium widgets. The widgets include:

• Animated headlines.

• Accordions

• Progress bars

• Creative buttons

• Calls to action

• Table of contents

• News ticker

• Instagram feed

• And more

The widgets are on par with what similar plugins offer, although there are a few unique widgets. These include image hotspots, domain search, restrict content widget, nested accordions and tabs, and a few others.

In addition to that, Master Addons offer form elements for popular form plugins such as Contact Form 7, Ninja Forms, WP Forms, and others.

Custom breakpoints is a feature unique to Master Addons plugin. It allows you to add extra breakpoints to Elementor to better control the responsiveness of your website.

By default, Elementor has only 3 breakpoints. Master Addons allows you to set unlimited breakpoints. This feature allows you to define your breakpoints, save them, and even export them to other sites so you don’t have to recreate them from scratch every time. .

Each breakpoint allows you to set device orientation, giving you the ultimate control and the ability to create a truly responsive website.

If you want to customize your site’s header and footer, you’ll be glad to know that Master Addons offers premade header and footer elements. These are available in their template library so to get started, you’ll need to choose a header or a footer as your starting point.

Once you insert the header onto your page, you can customize the styles, edit the content, and add extra widgets.

You can also set the header to be sticky, and easily add navigation menus to your site.

As far as menus go, Master Addons allows you to control the desktop and mobile version of your menu separately. You can customize how they appear to make it easier for your visitors to browse your site, no matter which device they’re using.

You can also create a mega menu if you have a lot of categories or pages to organize without overwhelming your visitors.

Master Addons offers the ability to protect certain content on your site. It’s similar to a membership plugin, allowing you to prevent visitors from seeing the page or the post. You can also prevent them from seeing only certain parts of the page.

The widget is very flexible and versatile. You can easily restrict content based on user roles, age, password or captcha verification. You can fully customize the widget in terms of content, how it appears on the page, and how it looks

Template Library

Master Addons offers prebuilt page demos for Elementor. The templates are divided into three sections: business, creative, and medical. You can browse through them, preview each template, and import it onto your site.

The downside is that there aren’t many templates to choose from and they seem to be only for singular pages. This means that you’ll still need to create other pages for your site from scratch.

You’ll also find prebuilt sections. They are organized into various categories by widgets. Similarly to page demos, there aren’t that many to choose from but they do offer a nice starting point.

Master Addons has a 4.5 star rating on the official repository and more than 10,000 active installations. The plugin is regularly updated and new widgets are added pretty frequently.

In addition to new widgets, you’ll find a growing library of ready made pages and sections that you can use and save time while designing your site. All of the pages and sections can easily be customized to match the rest of your site.

What makes Master Addons stand out is the fact that they allow you to easily add custom CSS to Elementor which means that you can easily customize your site like a pro.

Another standout feature is the ability to set custom breakpoints and the unique content restriction widget that offers pretty extensive customization features.

Working with the plugin is easy and styling the widgets works the same way as using any built-in Elementor widget.

The support for the plugin is rather detailed and you’ve got a variety of options: from using the official documentation to watching tutorials or submitting a ticket for direct help.

Having the ability to white-label the plugin on the developer plan is a nice touch for web designers and developers.

All things considered, Master Addons is a reliable plugin that will help you add lots of new and interesting features to your WordPress website.

As far as support goes, Master Addons has a thorough documentation section on their website. Each element has its own article that describes the features and how to set it up.

You can also get support through the official Support Forum on the WordPress plugin repository.

If you prefer visual learning, their YouTube channel has a dedicated playlist with video tutorials that cover every feature of the Master Addons plugin.

You can join their Facebook community and network with other plugin users, ask questions, and get feedback and support.

Lastly, don’t forget that you can always submit a ticket if you can’t find a solution for your problem.

Master Addons has a free version that you can download from the official plugin repository. The free version offers 31 different elements for Elementor which is enough if you’re just getting started or if you want to give the plugin a try before buying it.

But, if you want to take advantage of the advanced features such as animated headings, image hover effects, advanced tabs, and more, upgrading to the pro version is recommended.

The premium version of the plugin has 18 additional elements and 6 additional extensions. It comes in three pricing plans which offer yearly and lifetime plans. Each pricing plan offers a 14-day free trial and 30-day money back guarantee

• Personal — the Personal plan allows you to use the plugin on 1 website and includes 50+ widgets, premium extensions, and premade blocks, sections, and pages. The yearly cost for this license is $39 while the lifetime plan is priced at $129. If you opt for the lifetime plan, you’ll also get the Osaka theme.

• Business — the Business plan includes all premium features and allows you to install the plugin on 3 websites. The price for this plan is $49/year or $149 for the lifetime license. If you opt for the lifetime plan, you’ll also get the added feature of being able to set custom breakpoints for more responsive editing.

• Developer — the Developer plan includes all the premium features and the ability to white-label the plugin. You can use it on an unlimited number of websites. The price for this plan is $199/year or $399 for the lifetime license. Like the Business plan, the Developer plan also includes custom breakpoints.

Master Addons is a pretty unique addon plugin for Elementor. While it does offer a number of standard widgets that are comparable to other Elementor addon plugins, it also has unique features.

For starters, the custom breakpoints feature gives you even more control over how your website appears on various screen sizes.

Secondly, the ability to add custom CSS even on the free version of the plugin means you don’t have to pay for Elementor Pro, unless you really want the pro features that Elementor offers.

The content restriction feature is another perk of Master Addons as you no longer have to install a separate plugin to add this functionality.

One downside of Master Addons is that they don’t offer any WooCommerce widgets so this might not be the right plugin for you if you have an online store.

Another downside of the Master Addons plugin is that there aren’t many premade templates to choose from. You’ll find templates for landing pages and homepages but keep in mind you’ll need to create other pages from scratch.

However, if you have a simple website, these templates are a nice starting point.

All things considered, Master Addons plugin offers plenty of cool features for Elementor and your WordPress website. Even though it doesn’t have as many premade page templates as some other Elementor plugins, it’s a worthwhile investment if you need more advanced features such as content restriction or if you want more control over the responsiveness of your site.
